It's time to ring in 2018! The Hamilton and Burlington area offers a ton of exciting options for the whole family to enjoy.
In Hamilton, Carmen's Banquet Centre's will host its 2018 New Year Bash with musical guest Freedom Train. This popular party will feature a delectable, five-course gourmet meal, open bar, late night buffet, dancing all night and a champagne toast at midnight. If you've always wanted to see the inside of the historic Scottish Rite, this is your opportunity! The Club will host a New Year's Eve Gala on December 31 beginning at 6 p.m. with cocktail hour. Enjoy a night of family fun as you howl in 2018 at Bronte Creek Provincial Park! Guests will join a park naturalist after dark for a 'Coyote Howl' guided walk, discovering a little bit more about one of the park's most misunderstood creatures. Afterwards, everyone is invited to gather around the bonfire with noisemakers in hand at 8:30 p.m. to welcome in the New Year during the "Countdown for Kids". Call 905-827-6911. Don't miss the City of Burlington's New Year's Eve celebration on January 1 at Tansley Woods Community Centre! Highlights include free swimming, face painting with BeeBop the Clown, activities, balloon animals with MD Children's Entertainment and Meet and Greet fun characters throughout the centre! It all happens from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
